Interesting post, Nicholas. You know last night I heard on the news, for the first time, somebody using the phrase "It's what Steve would have wanted." (Apparently he would have wanted Australia Zoo to open the day after he died.) And I couldn't help but wonder, wouldn't Steve have wanted his gory death video released to the public to better educate them about the need to preserve wildlife? I say, REALEASE THE IRWIN DEATH TAPE.

Yes Steve was harrassing this stingray - infact he was not swimming at all, he was in a boat, he had the ray on the end of a fishing hook with the intention of feeding the stingray to tiger sharks all in the name of good footage!!!
