Oh dear. Frustration blogging is it? I could have come by today if I’d known, but then it’s not as exciting when mere staff drop by. You could re-arrange the music play-lists…or go back to pretending to renovate the back room…Work doldrums suck.

how about I tell you about my monumentally crappy day? it might make you thank your lucky stars, young man.
1. I forget to buy a new weekly train ticket this morning. I am, as a result, issued with a $200 fine, despite agitated protests and, I'm ashamed to say, floods of public tears.
2. I miss my morning class due to my being detained by transit officer.
3. I find out that I have not been made redundant from my job (half of the staff are being made redundant, other half are being offered their same positions again) and thus will not be receiving a payout. I was SURE that I would be one of the lucky paid-out ones...
4. My day is capped off by a visit to the dentist.
Yeah, so, life sux.

my god, fiona, that is hellish. $200? child rapists get less than that. and not even made redundant. can you swap with somebody who wants to keep their job?

yeah, ella, it was a horrifically boring day, you should have come by. i catalogued fifty books and read a quentin tarantino screenplay and wrapped like, seven orders and still the hours seemed to drag on forever.

And were the fearless protecters of our public train system unmoved by tears? I'm guessing so. If it makes you feel any better, I think I'd cry too...

Nicholas, have a look at this, I think yo'll appreciate it -

well... i would, but...

i'm bored too. today i will be sorting out invoices, answering phone calls, and making hotel bookings. which is a lot like what i've been doing for the last three months. still. FIVE WEEKS UNTIL UNI. YES!

however, compared to fiona, i really can't complain.

Cripes, who would have thought this post would get all the comments? Tim, thanks for the link - quite amusingly accurate, although I'm pleased to say I've never reached the symptoms described for the severe stage. Tash, it would be so nice to see you show up with coffee and a sandwhich made from leftover ice and slice ingredients again. Alas...
